Bournemouth Performance Touch

Performance

Training is Thursday night from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and then into the bar. 

Both teams come together for a run around at the end of the evening and most importantly a drink at the bar! We’re always on the look out for new players so please do get in TOUCH to find out more

Competition

Our performance touch rugby team compete in the elite division of the England Touch Associations (ETA) National Touch Series – a three tier national series of competitions.  

Execel

Players from the squad have gone to represent the South West Saxons or Southern Suns regional teams at the ETA’s national tournament held over August Bank Holiday. We also have players representing England in the Senior Mixed and Mens 35s divisions.

For the third year in a row we announce that Touch rugby is FREE for all Bournemouth Rugby full members and player's. This is a great way Bournemouth Rugby can give back something to our valued members.

If you just want to turn up now and again you can just pay-as-you-go for £3 (02 Touch only)(all we require is that you sign up for a supporters membership - which is FREE of charge).

ENGLAND TOUCH

England Touch (ETA) are the governing body of Touch in England. Their role as custodians of the game is to promote, encourage, foster, develop and grow the sport of Touch in England, under the Federation of International Touch (FIT) rules and guidelines. They are a non-profit organisation primarily funded by membership fees, led by a volunteer-run Executive Committee selected by our members.

 

Full individual England Touch membership is required for players to play in any National Touch Series event and Touch Nationals competitions; to participate in an Elite (national representative) team, along with any other England Touch hosted event.
